Terms of Service For all transportation To / From BHM Airport.

All booking passengers agree to Crown's terms and policies regarding this service.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All reservations are subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds given for reservations cancelled 24 hours or less from pick-up time. Phone-in cancellations only. You must speak to a Crown representative (205-758-3875) M-F 9am-5pm CST) to cancel your service.

ALL PASSENGERS will be texted their driver’s name and telephone number the day before traveling. Passengers reserving a PRIVATE-WILL SHARE ride, agree to pay the PRIVATE RIDE RATE, if no shared ride is available. All travel must be paid in advance. A shared-ride will always have at least 2 passengers and up to 12 other passengers.

DEPARTURES: All shared rides are subject to STRICT PICKUP TIMES. If a passenger is more than five minutes late arriving at their pick-up location, the driver will not wait. The passenger may be left behind with no refund given. Crown transportation is not responsible for missed flights resulting from delays in traffic en route to the airport.

ARRIVALS: If a flight is delayed, please call the driver or Crown Dispatch at 205-758-3875. Crown will adjust pick-up times for delays. The driver will contact the passenger upon arrival. Arriving passengers will be picked up on the “transportation island” outside the baggage claim doors. Passengers on shared rides may have to wait at the airport for up to one hour for other passengers to arrive.

 

DELAYS and EXTENDED WAIT TIMES: All passengers agree to pay $7.50 per 1/2 hour, for all delays in arriving flights, in which the driver is en route or waiting at the airport. This fee will also be charged for extended wait times on departure pick-ups.

 

ADDITIONAL STOPS: All additional stops, detours, or multiple pick up/drop off locations must have prior approval or be authorized by Crown dispatch on the day of travel. Drivers must get approval to add stops. Additional fees may apply.

LUGGAGE: Passengers are allowed two regular-sized bags up to 50 pounds each and one carry-on item, (backpack, laptop case, or purse). If you have extra luggage or are transporting any large items, you must make prior arrangements by calling Crown (205-758-3875). Extra fees may apply. Failure to do this may result in the cancellation of your ride without a refund. Crown is not responsible and will be held harmless for any loss or damage to personal items left in vehicle.

For safety and insurance purposes, some Crown vehicles are equipped with cameras that capture images of both the road and in the vehicle cabin. Passenger's images may be captured by these devices, but these images are used only for safety and insurance purposes and are never archived.
