For 2026, we have simplified your student's airport shuttle experience. Shuttles to BHM Airport will only be available on the dates, times, and locations listed in the chart below. Shuttles will only pick up students at these locations and at these times.

Off-Campus Transportation and
Airport Service on Non-Shuttle Dates
Students living off-campus can catch any of the shuttles at the locations listed above, but if they want to be picked up at their off-campus residence, private rides are available for door-to-door pickups for any off-campus locations. Private rides are perfect for students needing a more exact pickup time, or for any departing dates not listed above. You can book a private ride online HERE. Spring Break Returns
Shuttle Schedule for
Arriving Flights on:
Sat. Mar. 21 & Sun. Mar. 22
On these two days, Crown will be offering its shuttle service for students returning from Spring Break. Shuttles will be departing the Birmingham Airport (BHM) approximately every 90 minutes (see chart below). These shuttles will offer door-to-door service for both on-campus and off-campus returning students. We anticipate average airport wait times of 90 minutes, but depending on arrival times and delays, some wait times may be longer. Students returning on non-shuttle days or wanting to avoid airport wait times may request a private ride by calling 205-758-3875 (Mon-Sat 8am-5pm). A special note on late arrivals
(flight times after 10:00pm)
Flights arriving at the Birmingham Airport after 10:00pm have a 35%-40% chance of being delayed. Sometimes this may only be a few minutes, but it can also be quite substantial. Crown is committed to getting all students back to Tuscaloosa in a timely manner, but we will not leave students stranded at the airport. This commitment means that a return trip for some students may be delayed as their shuttle waits for other students arriving on a delayed flight. We’re sorry for this inconvenience, but it is sometimes unavoidable, and you would expect the same courtesy if your student were on that delayed flight.
